Visiting Speaker lecture: Tuesday April 19th, 4pm, Helmore 114
Professor Carolyn Oulton is the Director of the International Centre for Victorian Women Writers (ICVWW) and the author of a number of monographs on Victorian literature. Her talk is entitled ‘”trudging the beach, looking for Cockneys”: Victorian humour at the seaside’. All are very welcome.
